Abidal povredjen i uefa testira barsine igrace

Éric Abidal limped out of training in the Miniestadi on Thursday during a session that ended with UEFA paying a surprise to carry out anti-doping tests.
Coach Pep Guardiola gave his players a day off following their victory over Benidorm in the Copa del Rey in midweek and they returned to work with the focus on the game at Málaga.

Barça took to the pitch in their Miniestadi only for Abidal to have to limp out of the action midway through after telling medics that he had pain in his right knee.

The French defender will undergo a series of tests to determine the extent of the injury, but there was some good news as Seydou Keita was out training.

Following his muscle injury in the game against Athletic Bilbao in San Mamés, the Malian midfielder had not trained, but was able to work with a physical coach as he looks to return to the squad.

UEFA officials arrived at Camp Nou after the session and took urine samples from a total of eleven players as part of their anti-doping programme in football.

Carles Puyol, Albert Jorquera, Sylvinho, José Manuel Pinto, Sergio Busquets, Touré Yaya, Gerard Piqué, Víctor Sánchez and Pedro all gave samples as well as two Barça Atlètic players, Oier Olazábal and David Córcoles.
